A small portion of time and space dissected to reveal light waves travelling through it.
/6 is a sculpture which was presented at the Centre de la Mode et du Design within Chromatic exhibit in Paris. The piece depicts a black cube as if it had been extracted from the structure of spacetime. Dissected, it reveals the light kept inside and unfolds its fundamental components. The installation exploits the idea that all matter has the potential to be visible to the naked eye through light. Mainly crafted from wood, the piece features 6 coloured fluorescent tube lights as well as mirror panels to give the inside of the box a feeling of impossible depth.
